Buddakan is one of NYC's premier trendy restaurant hotspots, and worth a visit for the enormous interior and labyrinth design, varying Asian-fusion menu, and great looking crowd. Service is hit or miss, but you can always start off with drinks at the bar and make a night of it regardless of how quickly you are seated. While Buddakan is fine for a date, it seems to cater more to mid-sized dinner parties.
