Editorial Overview
This is not the easiest door in town, and it really helps to be on the list. But once inside, the fake graffiti on the walls is utterly charming with an amber glow from the ceiling. From the outside, the intimidating bouncers and steep cover charge create the illusion of a mega club filled with fashionistas. Inside, the vibe is friendly with a definite hipster edge. The Stereo crowd loves to dance in this smallish space, and things really pick up around midnight. The raised VIP area has an almost out of place beachy theme which spills into the DJ booth. Most of the DJs are well known, and they do an excellent job of getting the crowd going with fresh hip hop and 80's music. |
